Virginia Asset Management announces that Keith Muth, the firm’s chief investment officer, has been named as one of the “Top 250 Wealth Advisors” by Worth magazine. This marks the second time Muth has been honored by the publication. Last year, before Worth expanded the list to include 250 advisors, Muth was hailed as one of the “Top 100 Wealth Advisors.”
Muth is one of only 158 financial advisors in the world who holds the three prestigious designations of certified public accountant (CPA), chartered financial analyst (CFA) and certified financial planner (CFP).
“All of us at Virginia Asset Management are extremely proud of Keith and all that he has accomplished,” said Mike White, CEO of Virginia Asset Management. “This is a tremendous honor, one that comes as no surprise to Keith’s clients and colleagues, who witness his expertise and counsel every day.”
Muth joined Virginia Asset Management in 1996 after serving as senior vice president and chief operating officer of the small and mid-size business markets at Trigon Healthcare, Inc. A graduate of Penn State University, Muth has more than 25 years of financial planning experience and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Financial Planning Association, the CFA Institute and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
According to Worth magazine, the “Top 100 Wealth Advisors” represent the pinnacle of their profession and were chosen in large part because of their ability to intelligently discuss the current investment climate, the markets and their strategies for success. Readers of the magazine nominate wealth advisors, and Worth also solicits input from private banks, wealth management and investment firms and industry associations.
