Richmond.com Announces Faith and Values Channel in Partnership with Needle's Eye Ministries, Inc.

Richmond, VA: In an effort to create a comprehensive community resource about the Greater Richmond area, Richmond.com is pleased to launch its new Faith and Values Channel. With the assistance of Needle's Eye Ministries, Inc., Richmond.com has created an area where visitors can research their interests in Faith and Values.

Needle's Eye Ministries is an interdenominational ministry that focuses on connecting the men and women of Richmond's workplace to a life-changing expression of real faith.

"Sponsorship of the Faith and Values channel is exciting for Needle's Eye as it positions us to better reach the younger generation, - the majority of whom go to the web rather than to print or TV," states Judson E. "Buddy" Childress, Jr., Executive Director of Needle's Eye Ministries, Inc. "The people of Richmond.com are helpful, creative and visionary. We're looking forward to a growing relationship."

With easy-to-access information provided by Needle's Eye, visitors to Richmond.com can learn about faith workshops in the area and sign up for luncheons featuring speakers who are local business people, small groups and bible study breakfasts and networking events on the Faith and Values Channel. One of their events, "Spiritual ShotsTM....the Best Buzz in Richmond," provides a forum for young professionals for open, honest discussion of spiritual issues. This event meets twice a month at Bottom's Up Pizza to discuss issues of faith in a fun, casual setting.

"We are extremely excited about our partnership with Needle's Eye Ministries. With the incredible traffic that Richmond.com is currently receiving, our goal is to develop a regional website that can collaboratively foster and share resources with the community at large," said Brian Cunningham, President, Richmond.com. "Partnering with Needle's Eye Ministries is an extension of this collective effort to achieve our goal."

Another point of interest in the Faith and Values Channel is the capability to search places of worship in the Greater Richmond area by faith and denomination, zip code, or by more specific standards such as which places have youth programs or day care facilities.

The Faith and Values Channel on Richmond.com also provides visitors with a calendar of events and articles of inspirational value.

Partnering with local business organizations, Richmond.com has proven it reflects the personality and interests of the Richmond marketplace under the most recognizable, intuitive web address in the city.

Richmond.com is a locally owned and operated company in Richmond, Virginia.
